Statement on the passing of Ed Lee, SF Mayor

The California Green Academy has issued the following statement on the passing of Ed Mah Lee, 43rd Mayor of the City and County of San Francisco:

"We are saddened by the unexpected loss of Mayor Lee. As the City's first Asian-Amercian Mayor, Lee worked with many to 'get the job done,' putting civic responsibility and duty over politicking. He was a extraordinary and dedicated leader, not just for all San Franciscans, but also for the City's significant nonprofit community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and we wish Acting Mayor Breed all the courage to continue on, in Mayor Lee's absence."
